Introduction

Welcome to transcribe4u ("the App"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the App, including any services provided by Assembly AI for speech-to-text transcription, Edge Store for temporary audio file uploads, and Stripe for payment processing. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Services

Speech-to-Text Transcription

The App uses Assembly AI for converting audio files to text. By uploading audio files, you grant us and Assembly AI the right to process these files for the purpose of providing transcription services. You acknowledge and agree that:

Temporary Audio File Storage

The App uses Edge Store to temporarily store audio files before processing. The uploaded audio files will be stored securely and deleted after the transcription process is complete. You acknowledge and agree that:

• We are not responsible for any data loss or breach during the storage period, although we strive to implement reasonable security measures.
  

Payment Processing

The App uses Stripe for all payment transactions. By making a payment through the App, you agree to Stripe's terms and policies. You can review their terms here. You acknowledge and agree that:

• All payment information is handled securely by Stripe.


• We do not store your payment information on our servers.
  

User Responsibilities

Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

• Uploading audio files that contain illegal content.


• Attempting to interfere with the operation of the App.


• Violating any applicable laws or regulations.
  

Intellectual Property

All content and materials available on the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of transcribe4u or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content or materials without our prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, [Your Company Name] shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the App.
  

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless transcribe4u, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms on the App. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the App will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
